We,CASA de Maryland Youth Committee, have formed together to advocate for the rights and justice of all Maryland Students.

Our GOALS include to:

(a) pursue and achieve their dreams by having access to Higher Education with In-State Tuition,
(b) have better job opportunities,
(c) preserve their families by challenging unjust and tough immigration enforcement,
(d) advocate to improve public safety in immigrant communities and social spaces,
(e) thrive freely from discrimination and fear,
(f) have their young but powerful voices heard in civic life,
(g) protect their rights and those of their families and communities they occupy.

Our current priority is to promote and raise awareness of the Maryland Dream Act,a law that in the state of Maryland is long over due.The Maryland Dream Act has been put on referendum and will be voted on November/6/2012.
